Underwater!!

When Tracy got married on April 18th at the Castle at Ashley Manor, you may have seen from an earlier post on our blog that she jumped into the fountain in her wedding dress. Once the dress was wet, she truly looked like a mermaid - which was the style of the dress anyway. We took it a step further on June 25th and built an underwater set and photographed Tracy in a swimming pool. Our set included an underwater muslin fabric background, lots of sandbags, rose petals and a very expensive underwater uncasement for my Canon 5D Mark II. What a blast it was! Thanks for the beautiful pictures Tracy!

Bill and Lori

It has been so nice to get back to shooting weddings at the Phoenician. The property is so beautiful. Lori and Bill's kids beamed (all 6 of them!) as their parents walked down the isle. The 5 girls and 1 boy then partied with cousins, family, loved ones - and of course the bride and groom - at Windows on the Green afterwards. Congrats Lori and Bill.

Jessica & Rob

Who would have thought that June 6th could be such a beautiful (and cool) day? Planning a June wedding, Jessica and Rob originally thought the heat would be an issue, but we had lots of "outdoor" time at the beautiful Troon North Golf Club in north Scottsdale. Their friends and family were just delightful - and as usual it was great working with Troon's Amber Riley, and Rich Mancini of the Music Doctors.

Kristina and Stephen

I knew this couple was going to be awesome from the moment I met them. After photographing their engagement photos 6 months ago, I knew their wedding day was going be oh so special. The wedding was held at Scottsdale's beautiful Sassi and being that it was the last week of May, we got very lucky with the weather. Kristina looked gorgeous in her mermaid gown and Stephen was as handsome as could be.
