Candlelight Wedding

It's not often we get to do a wedding by candle light. Gene and Roger were married under the stars on a beautiful September night at Scottsdale's gorgeous Sassi. Family and friends from far and wide (including one of my favorite places - Canada!) came to share in this fabulous couple's special night. Congratulations Gene and Roger.

Angel's Stadium!!!

I felt like I made new best friends when I met Jim and Gina. What a great couple! They will be getting married on April 30th at Scottsdale's gorgeous Monteluccia. Both big Anaheim Angel's baseball fans, they flew me to SoCal to do engagement photos inside Angel's stadium. What a blast it was. Here are a few of my favorites.

Josina & Matt's wedding

It has been great being back at the Phoenician photographing weddings. We did quite a few weddings there in the 90s, but then corporate events seemed to be the trend for that venue for a while. With the new economy, they are back in the wedding business and we're always happy to be there. The Orchid Lawn was a beautiful spot for Matt and Josina to share their vows. Even though there were tons of secret service roaming around all day, we managed to get some beautiful images. And Matt and Josina were just as beautiful.

Guess who crashed our wedding?

So Josina and Matt never would have thought when they booked their wedding at the lush and beautiful Phoenician almost a year ago, that President Obama would be staying at the exact same resort on the same day. Secret service, bomb sniffing dogs, and tons of police made it a little tricky to move around the property for photos, but in the end Josina and Matt had a beautiful day. Nicole and Michael

Nicole and Michael's wedding at Gilbert's beautiful Villa Siena had all the "right stuff"... from a handsome groom, to a gorgeous bride, and a little flower girl whose cheeks we just wanted to pinch all day. She was the cutest. I loved all the moments between her and her mom (the bride). Congrats Nicole and Michael.

Kathleen & David

On those days where we experience extreme heat, sometimes even the slightest little breeze will help keep things "almost" comfortable. That heat didn't bother David and Kathleen at the beautiful Sassi in Scottsdale. Their wedding day brought heat, but also the love and joy that only a family and close friends can bring on such a special day. That day also brought a beautiful sky during the sunset hour and a crescent moon after dark. Congrats David and Kathleen!

A stormy summer day at the Royal Palms

Claire and Michael knew it would be hot on their wedding day, but a summer storm blew through a wall of dust and a strong breeze that helped cool things a bit. Their wedding was held at the beautiful Royal Palms in Scottsdale, Arizona among very special family and friends from all parts of the country. Congratulations Michael and Claire!
