Two beautiful weddings - May 2nd, 2009

While One Fine Day's Anne and Jim where photographing the wedding of Sheena and Dan at Arrowhead Country Club, our other One Fine Day team, Doug and Eric did an excellent job at documenting an incredible moving and emotional day for Catie and Brandon at the beautiful Villa Siena in Gilbert, Arizona. Such beautiful pictures, family, friends, and - especially an amazing bride and groom.

Sheena and Dan

We hadn't been to Arrowhead Country Club in a long time, so it was nice to head west for Sheena and Dan's special day. I also loved hearing the story that they had met on EHarmony.com. Other than the adorable little ring bearer not wanting to wear his boutineer (he destroyed it) , everything went perfectly. Congratulations Sheena and Dan!

Ashley & Kenny

Years ago I photographed the wedding of one of the most amazing couples, Laura and Darren. They were not your typical young couple in their twenties or thirties - this wasn't their first marriage - but to this day one of my favorite weddings I've photographed. Since then, One Fine Day Photography has been hired to do family portraits and Christmas cards for their families - so it was a delight when Laura's sister Lisa called to say her daughter Ashley was getting married and they wanted us to photograph the wedding. The wedding was at the beautiful Hyatt Gainey Golf Club - and what a beautiful April day it was. Congratulations Ashley and Kenny!!

Tracey and Nick

Who would have thought that when I met young Tracey Sosna as a young aspiring photographer asking to tag-along at weddings that 8 years later I would be photographing her wedding! Even though she is not into photography anymore, she sure made for a beautiful subject on the other side of the camera. Her and her handsome groom Nick were married at the elegant "Castle at Ashley Manor" on a day that provided perfect weather and loving family and friends. Even a late night dip in the fountain at the end of the night made for some fun photos!

Sabrina & Shane

What a special wedding this was. From the church service, to a gorgeous night at the Sanctuary Resort in Scottsdale for their reception, it was clear that Sabrina and Shane are very beloved by their family and friends. There were special moments all day long. Between the bride and her father, the groom and his son - and one of the sweetest was captured right after the wedding between the groom's son and the bride. What a great family. Congratulations Shane and Sabrina!

Cinnamon!

How can you resist a name like Cinnamon?!? She was so fun! Cinnamon and Chad were married at the beautiful Villa Siena - and photographed by One Fine Day's "A" team - Doug Williams and Eric Leach.... with a special appearance by an amazing shooter - Jenny Bishop. Thanks so much for coming along Jenny! One Fine Day photographed Jenny's wedding 3 years ago, and now Jenny is proving to be a great photographer.
