Jamie and Richard, October 24, 2008

Jamie and Richard were married at the beautiful Troon North in Scottsdale on October 24th. They wanted a romantic dusk-and-candle light ceremony - which is exactly what they got. After their ceremony they danced their first dance outdoors under the stars while a circle of family and friends gathered round with sparklers and good wishes. It was a beautiful night.

Katie and Brian

From the minute we walked into Octollio Golf Resort in Chandler on October 18th, Katie Pennell warned us, "I'm a cryer" Her tears of joy throughout the day created some of the sweetest moments imaginable. My second photographer that day was Dave Siebert, a 30-year veteran photographer of the Arizona Republic. It was a joy to shoot with him.

What a beautiful couple

It was been two years since Gary and Veronica and they are still as beautiful as ever. And expecting a baby very soon! Congratulations Gary and Veronica!

Lisa & Chris

Sassi in North Scottsdale has always been one of my favorite places to photograph weddings - and Lisa and Chris turned out to be one of my favorite couples. So in love. And the sweetest people ever.

Kristan & Chad

October has been unusually hot, but it didn't manage to spoil Chad & Kristan's big day. Everyone was in a great mood, even though an accident on the freeway delayed the guests arrival. The wedding, wedding party, the families - especially the personally written vows - were all beautiful. And who could deny that we had the most awesome sunset ever!

Susan and Eric

On September 13th, Susan and Eric were married at one of my favorite venues, Villa Siena. The wedding was small and intimate. The reception was held in the smaller ballroom - which was decorated in the most exquisite way. The bigger ballroom on property was not being used, giving us some really great photo opportunities (not to mention a break from the heat).

Carrie and Geoff

We found ourselves once again at the beautiful Sassi again on September 6th for Carrie and Geoff's wedding. Carrie was a classic beauty - reminded me of a Garbo or Marilyn Monroe type. What a great night.
