Sassi in North Scottsdale has always been one of my favorite places to photograph weddings - and Lisa and Chris turned out to be one of my favorite couples. So in love. And the sweetest people ever.

Kristan & Chad

October has been unusually hot, but it didn't manage to spoil Chad & Kristan's big day. Everyone was in a great mood, even though an accident on the freeway delayed the guests arrival. The wedding, wedding party, the families - especially the personally written vows - were all beautiful. And who could deny that we had the most awesome sunset ever!

Susan and Eric

On September 13th, Susan and Eric were married at one of my favorite venues, Villa Siena. The wedding was small and intimate. The reception was held in the smaller ballroom - which was decorated in the most exquisite way. The bigger ballroom on property was not being used, giving us some really great photo opportunities (not to mention a break from the heat).

Carrie and Geoff

We found ourselves once again at the beautiful Sassi again on September 6th for Carrie and Geoff's wedding. Carrie was a classic beauty - reminded me of a Garbo or Marilyn Monroe type. What a great night.

Tonya and Paul

Temperatures were starting to come down a little (105) on August 31st when Tonya and Paul got married at Arizona's the "Castle." Nothing could spoil their day, however and the guests, bridesmaids, groomsmen, friends and family partied well into the evening.

Who says 110 degree temperatures can spoil a wedding?? Not in Rachel and Jason's case. The wedding was held at the gorgeous Sassi in North Scottsdale. Heat or no heat - everyone had a ball...

Time for a break!

Finally got a chance to go on vacation to the beautiful Banff, Alberta, Canada. The trip was a perfect combination of sight-seeing, hiking, canoeing, drinking, eating, shopping - you name it. Oh, yeah, and of course, picture-taking.
