June 29th - another hot Arizona day

Amy and Bryan's big day at Troon North Golf Course was not spoiled by the 114 degree heat, especially since the day was topped off with the most beautiful sunset ever. The sky was the most intense beautiful red ever. Special thanks to Dave Siebert for helping me out with that wedding.

Fire in the Sky

I loved our June 27th bride and groom, Heather and Brian from Calgary, Canada. Their wedding - at McCormick Ranch Golf Course - was not spoiled by the 112 degree heat - nor the fire 10 miles away that made for a smokey sky!

The happy couple was relieved that their wedding turned out NOT to be as hot a day as expected. It was, in fact, downright lovely. The ceremony was held at DaySpring Methodist Church in Tempe, with the reception following at the University Club on the ASU Campus.

Shooting at the Sanctuary

The Sanctuary Resort in Scottsdale is one of the most beautiful 5 star resorts in all of Arizona. I was delighted to do a photo shoot there (for their promotional literature) which featured my March 30th bride, Stephanie Stock. She was happy to put her dress on for a second time!

April 12th - in respect to those serving our country

I loved that Melissa and Nick's wedding honored those that were serving our country. Friends of the couple that couldn't make it - because they are serving our country in Iraq - were definitely remembered throughout the day - both in the toasts during the evening - and the honor guard that greeting the couple as they left the church. The reception was held at the beautiful Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center.

Erin and Ryan - April 5, 2008

The McDowell Mountain Marriot proved to be quite the beautiful resort venue for Erin and Ryan's wedding. Their traditional Catholic wedding was held earlier in the day at Blessed Sacrament Church which has a VERY special place in my heart since that is where my own mother's funeral was only a few years ago. Regardless, the ceremony and couple were beautiful and the day turned out great. I think my mother was smiling down on me that day.

Eric and Meghan - April 4th, 2008

Eric and Meghan were so much fun!! Their wedding was held at Troon North and the climax of the day was one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. Not to mention how much fun their wedding party was.
